Part One: Readings

1. Read these articles. Take notes (or highlight/mark text) focusing on strong and weak arguments, claims and evidence. What claims do the authors make in each article? What evidence do they use to support their claims?

   2. A beastly business – Animal-rights protests
2. Write a summary / reflection about each article. The summary should express your opinions about the articles, the claims each article makes, and the evidence provided. Your concluding statement should mention whether you agree with the article and whether the article is strong or weak, regardless of your agreement / disagreement.
