ASSIGNMENT ONE: THREATS TO HUMANITY IN THE 21st CENTURY: Please answer the following questions in narrative essay format and be sure to use complete sentences and paragraphs. Be sure to type these papers in Microsoft Word, use 12 point font, double-space, and include a proper heading. When you finish with the assignment, print it and turn it in at the end of the period.

STEPS:

1. Put your name and proper heading at the top of a loose sheet of paper. A proper heading is located in the upper right-hand corner of your document/page and includes:
   • First and last name
   • The date (September 16, 2016)
   • Your school
   • 4j student ID
2. Put the title of the assignment in the upper left-hand corner of the assignment. The title is listed at the top of this website page in red letters.
3. Answer all questions. Each question could be answered as a complete paragraph.

QUESTIONS:

1. In your opinion, what are the top three problems that humanity faces in the 21st century? Please write an introductory paragraph explaining what you feel the top problems facing humanity are. 
2. Why are the problems you’ve identified problematic for humanity? Write a paragraph for each problem. Be sure to explain/describe what the problem is and why it is a threat. Give examples of each threat.
3. Are the problems you’ve identified solvable? What needs to be done to combat the problems you’ve identified? 
4. Do you believe humanity will do what is necessary to bring these problems to an end? If not, what is holding us back?
5. Finally, as a conclusion paragraph, do you feel that these problems are threats to your own life as an individual? Do you feel that the issues you’ve identified will impact you during your lifetime? Share your final thoughts about these issues.
