The information below represents the outline of work we will do for the Tragedy and Holocaust units of this term. This list will expand almost daily. Be sure to check this page if you are absent. Individual assignments and tasks can be completed independently.

  2. Introduction to Tragedy – Please take notes on the concept of tragedy as taught in class today. When we finish, independently read the articles posted below for assignments three and four. As you read the articles, take notes and apply ask the following simple questions to process the information:

  5. Oedipus Rex – Crash Course
    1. Please take notes on this lecture.
    2. Focus on what you recognize and remember from the last two days of my talking about the Oedipus story.
    3. When you finish, please make sure you have:
      1. Watched and taken notes on the Holocaust video,
      2. Taken notes on tragedy,
      3. Read the two articles about Russia.
